But from now till 13 September 2026, the museum gets an extra kid-friendly upgrade with PAW Patrol: A Museum Adventure, where Chase, Marshall, Skye and the gang turn the visit into a prehistoric rescue mission.
So instead of a normal museum walk, the kids get trail booklets, PAW Patrol photo spots, masks, badges, dino-themed challenges, and a weekend badge-making activity. Very clever, because suddenly the little ones are not just walking through exhibits. They are “on a mission”. Parents win.

PAW Patrol Takes Over The Museum
The PAW Patrol collaboration makes the museum much more exciting for younger kids.
Before heading in, the kids get their PAW Patrol trail materials, including masks and badges. Once inside, the mission begins properly: spot the pups, complete the trail booklet, solve little challenges, and take photos along the way.
This works especially well because the museum itself is filled with so many real specimens and displays. So while the kids are chasing the PAW Patrol mission, they are also quietly seeing fossils, animals, preserved specimens, and natural history up close.
Sneaky learning. We love it.
PAW Patrol Museum Trail
The trail booklet is one of the best parts of the event.
It gives the kids a reason to keep moving through the museum instead of doing the classic “are we done yet?” after five minutes. They have puzzles and games to complete, and the PAW Patrol stops make the whole visit feel like a little adventure.
For parents, this is very helpful. You still get a proper museum visit, but the kids feel like they are part of a rescue mission.
Many Photo Spots & Dino Cam
There are PAW Patrol photo opportunities around the museum, including the PAW Patrol Dino cam.
And yes, we got distracted by it.
There were multiple backgrounds, and of course we took photos with all of them because once the kids realise there are different options, suddenly one photo is no longer enough. Very standard parent situation.
It adds a cute, fun layer to the visit and makes the whole outing feel more like a special event.
Weekend Badge-Making Workshop
One important thing to plan around: the PAW Patrol badge-making workshop only happens on weekends from 11am to 4pm.
It is located at the exit, so you are advised to finish the museum first before heading out to do the badge activity. Once you exit, the kids can choose 1 out of 5 designs and make their own PAW Patrol badge.
The badges are magnetic too, which is great because no sharp pins near little kids. Very parent-approved.
Also good to know: no museum ticket is required for the badge workshop because it is at the exit area.
The Natural History Parts
Dinosaur Zone
This is probably the section most kids will be waiting for.
The giant dinosaur fossils are seriously impressive, especially when you see them towering above you. The museum houses three huge sauropod fossils, and they really do make the space feel grand.
For little dino fans, this is the main event. For parents, this is also the part where you get to say, “See, this is why we came,” while the kids stare upwards in awe.
The giant dino fossil on Level 2 looked especially amazing from above. It gives you a different view and makes the whole thing feel even bigger.
Singapore Sperm Whale
Another major highlight is the Singapore Sperm Whale skeleton.
This is one of those exhibits that feels especially meaningful because it is connected to Singapore’s own natural history. The whale was found off Jurong Island in 2015, and now its skeleton is displayed in the Mammal Zone.
It is huge, striking, and quite a good moment to talk to kids about marine life, the ocean, and how much nature exists around Singapore even when we don’t always see it.
Many, Many Animal Specimens & Nature Displays
Beyond the big stars, there are many preserved specimens throughout the museum.
The boys were in awe of the different animals, bones, fossils, and displays. It is a lot for little eyes to take in, but in a good way. The museum has that feeling where every few steps, there is something new to point at.
We explored ancient origins, listened to nature’s sounds, looked at real fossils, and discovered bits of Singapore and Southeast Asia’s natural heritage along the way.
This is where the museum really shines: it is not just dinosaurs. There are mammals, marine life, rainforest life, plants, insects, and all sorts of preserved specimens that make the place feel full of discovery.
Biodiversity Gallery
The Biodiversity Gallery is the main section where kids get that big “woah” museum moment.
This gallery has different zones showing the variety of life on Earth, from plants and amphibians to mammals and dinosaurs. There are so many specimens to look at, and the displays are great for curious kids who like pointing at everything and asking, “What is that?”
Some parts are fascinating, some are slightly creepy, and some are just amazing to see in real life. Which honestly is exactly what a natural history museum should feel like.

Right opposite the badge area, there are dino toys and snacks available.
So yes, prepare your best “we are just looking” parent face.
