Gallop Stable Admiralty is one of those places that feels surprisingly different from the usual family outing in Singapore. It is huge, quiet, and a little tucked away, with horses bred, kept, cared for, and trained there. Equestrian athletes train here too, but families can also visit for the kid-friendly side of things: horse feeding, pony rides, stable tours, and some easy art and craft at the indoor activity area.
The whole place has a very relaxed countryside feel. From the old-school push-open doors at the entrance to the open stable grounds inside, it almost feels like you’ve wandered into a small cowboy town instead of a place in Admiralty.

First Impressions
Because of its location, Gallop Stable Admiralty has a lot of space to breathe. It does not feel like a polished attraction, and that is part of the charm.
The area feels open, calm, and slightly rustic. There is also quite a long walk in, so come prepared if you have younger kids, tired legs, or many things to carry. Very classic parent math: one child, one water bottle, one snack bag, somehow still too many things.
Horse-Related Activities
The main reason to visit Gallop Stable Admiralty is, of course, the horses.
There are three main horse-related activities: horse feeding, pony rides, and stable tours. They are all quite simple, but for kids who love animals, that close-up interaction is really the whole magic of the place.
Horse Feeding
Horse feeding is probably the easiest activity to start with.
You can get carrot packs at $2 each, and the kids get to feed the horses directly. The portion is not huge, but it is affordable enough to get a few packs if your child is really enjoying it.
It’s a simple activity, but such a nice experience for little ones. Some kids may be excited, some may be nervous, and some will suddenly become very serious carrot distributors.
Pony Ride
The pony ride is around 8 minutes, going around a small area.
It’s not a very long ride, but the setting makes it feel special. With the open space, stable buildings, and greenery around, it does feel a little like your child is riding through some suburban grassland instead of Singapore.
Definitely fun, but expect longer queues on weekends.
Stable Tour
The stable tour lets you see where the horses spend their time, and you can also pet them gently on the head. It starts at $7/pax.
This part felt surprisingly lovely. Some of the horses at Gallop Stable Admiralty are retired race horses, and seeing them up close is quite something. They are calm, majestic, and honestly beautiful to look at.
There are tour slots throughout the day, roughly every half an hour.
Other Fun Activities
Besides the horse activities, Gallop Stable Admiralty also has a few other things to keep the kids occupied, which is helpful because the horse activities themselves are quite short.
Art And Craft
After spending time outdoors with the horses, the art and craft area is a nice little cooldown.
There are a few craft options, but window art is probably the most familiar one. Kids can choose from different designs and sizes, then sit down and get creative.
The more memorable one is horseshoe painting. You get to paint a horseshoe and bring it home, which makes quite a cute keepsake from the visit.
Playground
There is also a playground, and it is low-key quite fun.
It is not one of those tiny token playgrounds that kids finish in three minutes. This one is of a decent size and kept the kids occupied for a good while.
When we visited in the late afternoon to evening, the playground was shaded too, which made it much more comfortable.
Photo Spots
Gallop Stable Admiralty really has a few spots that do not look or feel like Singapore.
With the stable setup, horses, open grounds, and quiet surroundings, it’s a nice place to snap some family photos. Very “wait, where is this?” kind of backdrop.
Rabbit Pen
There is also a rabbit pen with some rabbits.
Interestingly, there did not seem to be any rabbit feeding activity here, unlike the Downtown East Gallop Stable outlet where rabbit feeding is available.
Food And Seating
There are ice cream, snacks, drinks, and some finger food available at the indoor activity area.
The space is quite family-friendly too, with tables and chairs where everyone can sit down for a break. Very useful after walking around outdoors, especially if the kids need a snack reset.
Final Thoughts
Gallop Stable Admiralty is a sweet outing for mini animal lovers, or if you just want a different kind of outing – away from the malls and playgrounds.
The horse feeding, pony ride, and stable tour make it feel different from the usual playground or mall day. A lot of the horses and ponies are really adorable, and it’s lovely seeing kids get close to them, build a bit of confidence, and enjoy a gentler kind of activity.
