Arbora at Mount Faber: Elevated Dining With a Playground, Pokemon Cable Car Experience and Great Views

arbora mount faber

You know how kids will eat anything if there’s a cable car involved? Okay, maybe not, but Arbora at Mount Faber Peak is the closest we’ve come. There are cable cars to watch, a cable car to sit in, a small playground, and a Pokemon experience on top. We stayed way longer than we planned. Again.

Funseekers’ Verdict

Dining with a view, a Pokemon experience, a small playground and cable cars all around. Kids stay busy, parents get to enjoy the food and the view. Worth the trip up Mount Faber.

The Pokemon Experience

Let’s start with what the kids will care about most. Arbora has a Pokemon experience running until 21 January 2027, so you still have time. We waited around for Pikachu and Eevee to appear, and the kids were not moving until they did.

There are also 9 different Pokemon-themed card designs to collect, so expect your kid to ask to come back and get the rest. Consider this your warning.

Cable Cars Everywhere

The whole place is built around the cable cars, and the kids love it. You can watch them glide past from up high while you eat, and you can even sit in one yourself.

And if you stay till night, there’s a UV light surprise from the cable cars after 7.45pm. We won’t spoil it, but it’s worth timing your visit for.

The Playground and the Bells

There’s a small playground, so when the kids are done eating (or just don’t want to anymore), they can go off and burn some energy while you finish your drink.

The interior is really nice too, and it comes with bells to ring, which the little ones love. Our kids kept going back to ring them again. The kids also left with cute cable car tattoos, which they were very proud of.

The Food

Let’s start with the kids. The kids’ meal went down well, and our kids finished everything. And then there’s the cable car ice cream dessert, which is exactly what it sounds like, and the kids will want it. Maybe order it before they see it on someone else’s table.

Now for the grown-ups. The bamboo chicken nasi lemak was a hit with us, and so was the satay. Other signature dishes include the Arbora Rojak, the Pasta Hokkien Mee and the Cempedak Bread & Butter Pudding.

Set lunches start at $16.80 on weekdays and $18.80 on weekends, which is not bad at all for a place with this view. If you’d rather not do the set lunch, the normal à la carte menu is there too. There’s also a 1-for-1 Singapore Sling if you want to treat yourself.

Good to Know

Mount Faber Leisure has a few local promos too. Locals can ride the Sentosa Line round trip for just $2 on weekdays, until 31 December 2026. You can see the full list on their Local Promos page.

There’s also the Faber Licence, with 30% off until 30 November 2026.

Valet parking is free for now, and it’s usually $6 per car.

Pets are welcome in the open dining space, so the fur kids can join the family lunch too. There’s even an adorable photo wall for all the pets that came before, so don’t forget to take a photo of yours.

Remember it opens at 12pm from Monday to Thursday, and at 11am on the other days.

Final Thoughts

Great food, a great view, and a place where the kids stay happy for hours. Arbora is an easy yes if you’re heading up Mount Faber with the family. Would we go back? Yes, and we’d go before the Pokemon experience ends.
